Call for Papers: Human Rights in Ethiopia

The Institute of Human Rights, Addis Ababa University was established to play a leading role in the process of good governance, democratization, and development in Ethiopia. As part of advancing its mission, the Institute is organizing a national conference on ‘Human Rights Education in Ethiopia’ to be held in December 2010.

Interested academicians, researchers and practitioners are invited to submit an abstract not exceeding 1000 words on one of the following themes:

* The Right to Human Rights Education;
* Mainstreaming Human Rights Education;
* Human Rights Education Curriculum;
* Methodology of Human Rights Education and Research;
* Human Rights Education in Multicultural Society;
* Ethics of Human Rights Education;
* Human Rights Education and Law Enforcement;

and related topics to the Institute by November 5, 2010.

In addition to the abstract, researchers should submit their resume.

A modest honorarium will be paid for selected papers which shall be presented at the Conference and also published as part of the proceedings of the Conference.
