Africa Media Review provides a forum for research and debate on communication theory, policy, and practice in Africa. The journal seeks to raise awareness and understanding about the interconnections between media, communication and social processes in Africa, and how these shape and are affected by policies and practices at global, regional and local levels. It welcomes contributions on all aspects of communication informed by or relevant to the African experience.
Africa Media Review/Revue Africaine de Media is a collaborative publication between the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) based in Dakar, Senegal and the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Nairobi, Kenya. It is published three times a year and covers articles in English and in French.
Submit electronic manuscripts (20 pages) to publications[@]codesria.org.
Manuscripts should include key terms, short bio of authors, using APA style [no footnotes].
