TARGET: youth in Ghana aged 7-18.
Contest entrants must submit a creative writing piece of up to 500 words, starting 'One evening before dusk I took a nature walk' Stories entered must be typed double-spaced in Word or if hand-written must be very neat and legible on white ruled notebook paper with black ink.
All entries must be received/postmarked by the 12th February, 2011 deadline. Please include your full name, school, class, age and birthday, as well as your contact information (phone number and email address) at the top of your paper or on a separate cover page. There will be 2 Grand prize winners - one from age group 7-13, the other from age group 14-18, and also 2nd and 3rd prize winners for both age groups.
Prizes include 6 months free membership to Enjoy Reading Club, an iPod, designer school bags,novels, DVDs and other popular brands, and will be awarded in April.

A nature walk is simply a stroll outdoors where you explore nature with your senses. Your nature walk can take place in a park, on a nature trail, or even in your own back yard,neighborhood or playground -- all you need to do is go outdoors and observe. If under 13 years old, please always go with an adult. If you are over 13, still let an adult know whenever you are outside the house.
