Entries for the 2010 Profile Awards programme will be accepted from 31 January 2010 and 31 March 2011.
Making it easier for entrants to categorise their work as well as broadening the potential scope of entries, entries can be submitted in the following five categories:
Industry. The Industry Sector and its products and solutions address industry customers in the fields of production, transportation and building systems. The Sector is primarily comprised of the activities of the previous business units of Automation and Drives, Industrial Solutions and Services, Transportation Systems and Building Technologies.
Energy. The Energy Sector primarily addresses energy providers, but also industrial companies particularly in the oil and gas industry. The Sector offers a comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions for the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, which includes solutions for the power plant environment, down to value-added services.
Health Care. The Healthcare Sector stands for innovative products and complete solutions as well as service and consulting across the entire value chain, from medical imaging and laboratory diagnostics to clinical IT.
Information Technology (Business process & Outsourcing). Information technology has developed from a specialist topic to become the backbone of virtually all business processes. What increasingly matters is the ability to optimally interlink all the diverse IT components in an enterprise - from the device level to production planning right through to the overarching control systems.
