4th ANNUAL WRITING COMPETION FOR STUDENTS IN MASS COMMUNICATION/ JOURNALISM IN NIGERIA.
CALL FOR ENTRY
The Omololu Falobi Foundation (OFF) sets out to promote quality media reporting among young and aspiring journalists through diverse means including competition, seminars and interactions and other dynamic strategies. The Foundation invites applications from Mass communication
/Journalism students in public and private tertiary institutions in Nigeria for the 4th annual Writing competition.
This year participants are required to write a FEATURE STORY on the theme: “HIV free Youth Population in Nigeria”.
Who should apply?
• Entrants must be current students of Mass Communication or Journalism in Nigeria.
Entry requirements:
• Submit a Minimum of two and maximum of 4 pages on Microsoft word
• Personal profile should accompany all entries.
• Only one entry per individual is allowed

• Entry closes 21st September 2010
All received entries will be screened by an independent panel of judges to be named by the foundation’s Board of Trustees, and judges’ decisions are final. The top three winners will go home with; a mini Digital video camera, a mini digital camera and a digital voice recorder for
1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively, there will also be a seminar on Investigative Journalism on the theme: “HIV free Youth Population in Nigeria”. All participants will receive certificate of participation at a presentation ceremony taking place 6th October 2010.
