We are seeking part-time English Instructors for a newly established university in Casablanca, Morocco. The appointment is for an initial period of one year with the possibility of extension.
The English Trainer will be responsible for delivering lesson plans to students from A1 through B1 proficiency on the Common European Frame of Reference.
• Maintain positive rapport with all students and create a positive learning environment to adequately communicate lessons.
• Enforce the student management and disciplinary policies of the university.
• Perform clerical duties, as required, relating to textbooks, instructional supplies, student reports and records, attendance reports, etc.
• Participate in English curriculum development and planning with other English trainers and the General Training Manager.
• Utilize technology when teaching including interactive whiteboards and learning management systems.

This post is only open to candidates currently living in Casablanca. The candidate MUST already have the legal right to work in Morocco.
• Possess a strong knowledge of English and teaching techniques.
• CELTA, TEFL, Trinity, or other equivalent qualification is required.
• Highly organized and dependable.
• Excellent computer aptitude and experience with basic teaching technology including interactive whiteboards, projectors, the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), and student information systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral form in English and (ideally) French and/or Arabic.
• Strong collaborative skills, high energy, excellent follow-up skills, and highly effective relationship building skills are required.
• Proven ability to work in a culturally diverse context.
• 1 or more years experience teaching secondary or higher level students required.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Masters is desirable.
Compensation
We are hiring for part time instructors with an average pay scale of 200-250 Moroccan Dirhams per hour.
