The Ken Saro Wiwa Candlelight Vigil and Educational Awareness Campaign, in Memoriam of the prolific Poet and Writer Mr. Ken Saro Wiwa is announcing a Writing Competition in his honor.
Inviting All Nigerian Youth Poets and Writers to submit a “TRIBUTE” Poem, Prose, free Verse, or Short Story in Celebration of the Legacy of Mr. Saro Wiwa.

Winner will receive An Award of Merit, 7500N, and the Winning entry will receive International acclaim as it is read at the event in Houston, Texas in the United States of America on November 10, 2010.
All submissions become property of Sponsor group The Niger Delta Restoration of Hope. Entries will judged by the event committee.
