We are seeking an experienced financial journalist to cover the Egyptian foreign exchange market for Reuters Cairo based Arabic news service as part of plans to increase our production of Arabic financial news. The successful candidate must have the initiative and ability to break news, write speedy and accurate news reports in Arabic, conduct interviews and deliver analysis to provide an indispensible Arabic news service to financial professionals. He/she should have a track record in covering foreign exchange news, debt, interest rates and macro-economics, and must have the flexibility to adapt to new formats of news delivery and news presentation. Excellent financial news judgment, proven writing skills and a competitive spirit are essential. Good command of English language is a must.

• Experience in covering money market news, and conducting interviews with top financial officials.
