Broad Outline of Duties:
The document writer is responsible for writing and editing documentation for the organisation’s products. The person must have excellent research skills, must be able to organize their ideas and translate technical terms into text a ready can understand.
· Develop and maintain productions, API’s, How to documentation,
· Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently.
· Complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
· Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
· Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format and content.
· Produce diagrams, sketches, charts to illustrate material

3.1 Responsible to: Implementations Manager
3.2 In communication with: Product team, Analysts/ Internal departments/ Development Team/ Merchants/ Users
Education, Training and Experience Requirements
- Excellent command over the English language.
- Expert writing skills, editing and proof reading abilities.
- Ability to write concise, attention grabbing and hard-hitting material that puts the message across.
- Creative bend of mind with strong visualization skills.
- Delivering within short time frames and meeting tight deadlines
- Must be flexible and interact with all levels in the organisation.
- Highly motivated individual able to grasp complex software and learn quickly
- Computer skills: High – MS office; internet proficient; writing skills
- Level of Numeracy: High
- Level of Communication Skills: High
- Level of Formal Professional Education or Training - Appropriate Degree or Diploma
- 1-4 years relevant experience.
- At least 2 years experience in E-Commerce and/or banking would be highly advantageous.
