JOURNALIST
Die Burger Oos-Kaap, part of Media24, has a vacancy for a general news reporter, to start work as soon as possible at the flagship publication of the company in Port Elizabeth.
The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work at a top newspaper group in the pleasant surroundings of the Eastern Cape.
Applicants must have a flair for community journalism, with experience of writing and editing. Photographic skill will be an advantage. Computer literacy is required, while knowledge of a newspaper layout program such as Eidos will be an advantage. Applicants must have an excellent command of the Afrikaans language, and have excellent writing, language and communication skill in Afrikaans.
A valid driver's licence is essential.
