CALL FOR PAPERS
GJOHPERSD invites original articles, review articles, book reviews, commentaries, and case analysis reports, in the following areas for publication in its future publications.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION/HEALTH EDUCATION & RELATED FIELDS
- Gender issues in health/sport
- Environmental and sports
- Media and sports
- Recreation and Leisure
- Sociology of sports
Articles should normally include the following parts but depending on the type of the article and subject covered, some parts may not be included.
Title Page: This page should contain the title of the paper, author(s) name(s), affiliation and full address(es) including phone number(s) and e-mail address(es)
Abstract:The abstract should not exceed 200 words. It should contain the purpose(s), scope, major findings and one or two recommendations of the study.
Main Body:This includes: Introduction, Methods and Procedure, Results and Discussion.
Conclusion:Statement of result(s) obtained or re-statement of points in introduction.
Reference: The American Psychological Association (latest edition) style should be adopted.
NOTE:
The paper should be clear; using 12 point Times New Roman, double spaced and should not exceed 12 pages of A4 size paper.

ACCEPTANCE OF MANUSCRIPT
Each manuscript will be reviewed by two referees to ensure accuracy and relevance. Based on the referees’ recommendations, the manuscript will be corrected by author(s) based on the reviewers’ comments before final acceptance for publication.
Note: The current publication fee is GH¢ 150 (N15, 000).
GJOHPERSD is usually published in May and November of every year.
