Sunday Sun, the biggest and brightest Sunday tabloid, requires the services of a Revise Sub-Editor with that magic tabloid touch.
The person will be responsible for the following key tasks:
· Edit and deliver tidy, well-subbed copy and the revision of subbed copy
· Provide punchy tabloid headlines for copy
· Lead and train junior copy subs
· Proofreading
The ideal candidate must have:
· A minimum of 7 years of journalistic experience
· Extensive experience as a senior or revise sub at a mainstream newspaper
· Proven English language skills and a passion for exclamation marks
· The ability to work fast and be able to meet strict deadlines.
