* The incumbent should have ability to develop stories or content ideas, considering reader and audience appeal.
* ability to reach deadlines.
* ability to carry out interviews.
* confer with the management on editorials and emphasis of developing new stories.
* overseeing layout, appearance and content of magazine is of high standard.
* editing and re-writing articles.
* raising the profile of the magazine.
* writing articles and also sourcing for the best free lance writers.
* ability to come up with press releases and newspaper worthy articles.
* good interpersonal skills.
* should be able to communicate in both oral or written English.
* should be a team player.
