Décor Editor - Tuis and Home
We are looking for an experienced person to fill this challenging position at our Cape Town office.
Responsibilities include:
• Conceptualizing and writing décor articles of a high standard and in keeping with the magazines' style
• Keeping abreast of national and international décor trends
• Sourcing, fetching and promptly returning props for décor photo-shoots
• Sourcing locations for décor photo-shoots
• Researching and writing décor-related articles and features
Requirements
A styling background (Proven experience essential)
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to interact effectively with our readers and to represent the magazine at client functions
• Creative flair
• A good visual eye
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Prepared to work long hours and available to travel.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans
• A valid driver's license
