SENIOR FEATURE WRITER
The Natal Witness Printing & Publishing Company (Pty) Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Journalists for a Senior Feature Writer position on The Witness newspaper. Applicants must have a relevant academic qualification (Degree/ Diploma) and substantial Journalism experience.
The successful candidate will be required to write in-depth articles covering a range of subjects from current affairs to lifestyle trends. Applicants will also be expected to write general news.
A good command of English and a broad general knowledge are prerequisites and applicants must be prepared to work odd hours and occasional weekends. Applicants must be able to generate story ideas, think analytically, conduct detailed research and work effectively under pressure.
The ability to communicate in Zulu would be an advantage.
Applicants must have a valid driver's licence and those without one will not be considered.
