    AFRO-CARIBBEAN LITERARY AWARD

    Literature can be defined as body of written works of a language, period, or culture. Over the years Africans and Caribbeans writers have contributed positively to the Literary world.

    This project was set up with the following aims and objectives :

    * To celebrate Black writers
    * To encourage up-and- coming writers
    * to encourage more people to read books by Black writers.

    Who are your favourite African or Caribbean writers?

    We are currently compiling a list of writers from the following genres:

    Children/Young adult

    Script writing
    Comedy
    Scientific fiction
    Non fiction
    Historical
    Journals
    Magazines
